We are all looking for ways to get exposure for our art, and the BAL Fine Arts Gallery is one of the best bargains around.  Regardless of where we show our art there are no guarantees that we will make a sale, however the longer it is in front of the public the more chance we have in making a sale.
 

What do you get when you pay an exhibiting fee at the BAL Gallery?

Lets say that you do not want to work in the Gallery, you would…

* Pay $16.00 per month times 12 months equals $192.00 per year.
* For that you get to exhibit 5 framed pieces of art on the walls, 25 matted pieces in the flip bin and 25 pieces in the card racks plus fine crafts and 3-D art.  All of   this exhibited in an attractive setting that is climate controlled (72 degree), well lighted dry environment, no wind or bugs.
* You have your art in front of the public for eight hours per day, Monday through Friday
* Saturdays it will be out for the public for eleven hours
* This exposure is for fifty-two weeks per year.
* Total hours of exposure without you having to be there to work is 2,652 hours.
* That figures out to about .0725 cents per hour to show your art.
* Where is the better deal?  A one day 8 hour, chance on the weather show or for about the same fee, a years time at the BAL Gallery.

Say you would like to work for 12 hours per month in the Gallery…

* Monthly exhibiting fee reduces to $6.00 x 12 months or Annually $72.00
* You are allowed eight pieces of art on the wall, thirty-five in the bins and 35 in the card racks plus 3-D art and fine crafts.
* Same 2652 hours of exposure at a cost of .0275 cents per hour for the year.
* The Gallery receives year round publicity and it is listed in the Burlington Chamber of Commerce’s “Points of Interest Guide”.
