Standard Policies of the Burlington Artists League

  1. In the event of hazardous weather on the date of a regular monthly meeting, the meeting will be postponed until the following Thursday at 7:30 p.m..
  2. Show hangings will change at the BAL Fine Arts Gallery in accordance with Gallery regulations. New paintings should be brought in and old paintings picked up before the regular hanging date.
  3. The Show Chair-person of our exhibits will not be obliged to hang any painting(s) not properly protected by matting, backing, and covering, or in frames not wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers).
  4. If members have not renewed their membership by payment of dues by September 1 of the new League year, their names shall be removed from the roll  and all rights and privileges revoked.
  5. To exhibit in League shows as a member of the Burlington Artists League, you must have joined the League by payment of dues thirty days prior to the show day.  Non-members must pay a show fee to exhibit in a Burlington Artists League sponsored show.
