The month of February the BAL will sponsor “BAL Member’s Small Art Competition. For this competition entries are restricted to only members of the Burlington Artists League. The competition and month of exhibit will be hosted by the Burlington Artists League Fine Arts Gallery at 309 Huffman Mill Road, Holly Hill Mall and Business Center, Burlington NC. A reception will be on Sunday, February 5, for 2 to 4 pm. In addition to announcing the competition winners the reception is being held to recognize the BAL Presidents from the inception of the BAL organization 40 years ago in 1972 to the present. The public is cordially invited to attend and meet the artists and BAL presidents.

Since the beginning of Burlington Artists League in 1972, we have grown to represent many local artists in our immediate area. BAL’s express purpose is to promote and elevate the area artists and their fine art spirit in Burlington NC and surrounding areas, thereby creating outlets for the artists and encourging their continuing efforts to improve and create more art work. Along with wall art and bin reproductions, the BAL Artists Gallery also includes 3-D art such as sculptures and pottery. Be sure to visit frequently; the artwork is always changing.
